The scientific work of the department is an integral part of its activities. The staff of the department, thanks to their scientific research, are recognized scientific experts in their fields not only on the territory of Uzbekistan, but also abroad.
The results of the department's own scientific research during its existence are reflected in 8 published articles in journals that have a high impact factor and are included in foreign scientometric databases (SCOPUS, Web of Science), more than 150 articles in domestic specialized publications. Innovative approaches in scientific research are confirmed by 5 patents and copyright certificates.
With reports on the results of their own scientific research, the staff of the department took part in more than 15 conferences, congresses, symposiums, forums, etc., including 10 international ones.
Scientific contacts of the department have been established with the I.I. Mechnikov North-Western State Medical University (St. Petersburg), the I.K. Akhunbayev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy (Bishkek), with the Abuali ibni Sino Tajik State Medical University, with which agreements have been signed on the exchange of experience, scientific cooperation and joint research andresearch works.
An integral part of the scientific work of the department is the organization of student scientific circles, which are structural units of the Scientific community of students, postgraduates, doctoral students and young scientists of the Faculty of Medicine. Students of the scientific circle of the department together with the staff of the department take an active part in clinical reviews and consultations, scientific and practical conferences, congresses, forums, symposiums and scientific research, the results of which published 5 theses and one article in specialized publications.
