With the arrival of spring, our people celebrate one of the most beautiful and significant holidays—Navruz, a symbol of renewal and the rebirth of nature. This year, ahead of the Navruz celebrations on March 21, festive events were organized across the entire country. In particular, celebrations were held in the city of Samarkand. From early morning, the city's central streets and Alisher Navoi Park were filled with the spirit of Navruz and the cheerful mood of residents and visitors.

  The grand festive gathering featured concert performances, traditional games, and national presentations. Numerous organizations, institutions, and universities from the city and region actively participated in the festivities. The team from Samarkand State Medical University also played a prominent role in the holiday program, delighting the public with vibrant performances reflecting national values and traditions, exhibitions of traditional dishes and attire, as well as festive music.

  The celebrations were also attended by the acting governor of Samarkand Region, Adiz Boboev, who extended his congratulations to everyone on the upcoming Navruz holiday.
