About the Registrar's Office

The "Registrar's Office" has the following rights in performing its functions:

  • to participate in the preparation of draft regulatory documents when state educational standards, curricula, and course programs are being updated;
  • to participate in the preparation of working curricula and course syllabi for departments and the educational-methodological department each academic year;
  • to request working curricula, course syllabi, and individual work plans of professors and instructors from faculties and departments;
  • to request proposals and recommendations from departments regarding draft regulatory and other documents being prepared;
  • to request information about textbooks, teaching materials, and other types of academic materials being prepared by departments;
  • to obtain other documents and information related to the educational process from deans' offices, departments, and other units;
  • The "Registrar's Office" may have other rights in accordance with current legislation;
  • The "Registrar's Office" may hold meetings and organize seminars to discuss issues within its competence.

Obligations of the "Registrar's Office" in performing its functions:

  • timely and high-quality execution of instructions from the Senate, the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Government, and the Ministry;
  • effective organization of the tasks and functions assigned to the "Registrar's Office";
  • timely consideration of appeals from individuals and legal entities;
  • high-quality and timely preparation of draft regulatory documents (or proposals for drafts) and their submission to management;
  • organization of the educational process at Samarkand State Medical University based on approved state educational standards, ensuring the full implementation of regulatory, legal, and other documents in this process.
