In connection with the "Civil Protection Month" held in the Republic from March 15 to April 15, 2025, a training seminar was organized at the Samarkand State Medical University.
The seminar was attended by N.Islomov, head of the Life Safety Training Center of the Samarkand Region Emergency Situations Department, as well as employees B.Mirzakobilov, Kh.Zoirova, staff of the 1st clinic of SamSMU, teachers, staff members, and students.
During the seminar, issues related to the implementation of "Civil Defense" activities at the university were discussed, along with the improvement of the efficiency of theoretical and practical training sessions for staff and students on the rules of conduct before, during, and after earthquakes. Measures to be taken in the event of potential natural emergencies, such as spring floods and landslides, were also reviewed.
