The national project “Yashil Makon” (“Green Space”), initiated by the Head of State, has today become a national movement aimed at preserving the environment, improving ecology and human health. In particular, it would not be an exaggeration to say that the announcement of 2025 as the “Year of Environmental Conservation and the Green Economy” has given the movement a wider scope.

  On March 15 of this year, a mass tree planting campaign was held on the territory of the L.M.Isaev Research Institute of Microbiology, Virology, Infectious and Parasitic Diseases at the Samarkand State Medical University as part of the national project “Yashil Makon” under the leadership of Rector Jasur Rizayev. Over 500 ornamental and over 250 fruit trees were planted on the territory of the center and a “Garden of Intellectuals” was created.

  The extensive work carried out not only contributes to the improvement of the environment and ecology, but will also undoubtedly contribute to the strengthening of human health.
