The Department of Radiation Diagnostics and Therapy of the Samarkand State Medical University is actively working not only to create new links with foreign medical universities, but also to strengthen existing ones.

  The creation of cooperation is primarily aimed at collaboration with foreign authors, for joint scientific research. The University has created tremendous conditions for these purposes, one of which is the SciVal platform. The SciVal online tool is a complex of innovative web solutions that provides presentation and evaluation of research results in all branches of science, allows organizations and their managers to optimize strategic investment, as well as effectively determine further research directions.

  Scientific contacts of the department have already been established with the I.I. Mechnikov Northwestern State Medical University (St. Petersburg, Russia), the I.K. Akhunbayev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan), with the Abuali ibni Sino Tajik State Medical University (Dushanbe, Tajikistan), with which agreements on exchange of experience, scientific cooperation and joint research work. To date, the focus is on cooperation with countries from Europe and America.

  Within the framework of the academic mobility program, the staff of the Department of Radiation Diagnostics and Therapy of the Samarkand State Medical University conducted both field visits (Tajik State Medical University named after Abuali Ibni Sino, Dushanbe, Tajikistan) and were the host party (staff of the Department of Radiation Diagnostics and Radiation Therapy of the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after I.K. Akhunbayev).
