International Cooperation Relations

  The internationalist tasks of Samarkand State Medical University are based on the concept of development of the institute, aimed at strengthening its place in the world of international education. The main advantages of internationalization are increasing the number of students from abroad, developing joint projects with foreign higher educational institutions and scientific research centers, increasing the number of researchers and teachers teaching in foreign educational institutions, and increasing the number of joint programs with foreign higher educational institutions that make it possible to issue two diplomas.

  Samarkand State Medical University develops relations with more than 60 state and international organizations, foreign universities and scientific research centers with participants in international cooperation in the field of education and science based on the essence of equality. The development of cooperation dialogues with European, Asian, North American, and CIS universities is based on joint programs and educational mobility.

  Every year, the number of highly qualified experts, professors, students and researchers from abroad who visit SamSMU in order to establish cooperation dialogues, study, improve their skills, and participate in scientific conferences is increasing.

  SamSMU is ready to establish contacts with educational and scientific centers, universities, and public organizations around the world, and the doors of the institute are open to all applicants, students, researchers and teachers from abroad.

  Geography of cooperation: the department has communication and cooperation dialogues with more than 10 higher educational institutions and scientific research centers in near and far foreign countries:

  As part of the academic mobility program established in the cooperation agreement between the Samarkand State Medical Institute and the Tajik State Medical University named after Abu Ali ibn Sino of the Republic of Tajikistan, Vafoyeva Nigora Abrorovna, assistant of the department of internal medicine propaedeutics of the Samarkand State Medical Institute, from 12.11.2021 to 20.11.2021 conducted practical training for students of the Faculty of Medicine and Pediatrics based on a calendar-thematic plan at the department of internal medicine propaedeutics of Tajik State Medical University named after Abu Ali ibn Sino.

 As part of the academic mobility program defined in the cooperation agreement between Samarkand State Medical Institute and the International Turkish Faculty of the University of Health Sciences of Turkey, established on the basis of Bukhara State Medical InstituteProfessors of the Faculty of International Turkey of the University of Health Sciences of Turkey Muhammet Raşit Sayın and Halit Chinarka, conducted lectures and practical classes based on the calendar-thematic plan from 13.12.2021 to 15.12.2021 within the framework of academic mobility on the basis of internal medicine propaedeutics.

   In the framework of academic mobility at the Department of Internal Medicine, from 13.12.2021 to 15.12.2021, exposure and practical lessons held according to the calendar-thematic plan by the professor of the Department of Sports Medicine and Medical Rehabilitation of the Moscow First State Medical University named after I.M. Sechenov, Doctor of Medical Sciences Bondarev was conducted.

  As part of the academic mobility program defined in the cooperation agreement between the Samarkand State Medical Institute and the Saratov State Medical University named after V.I.Razumsky of the Russian Federation, students, master's residents and clinical supervisors at the Department of Internal Medicine propaedeutics of the University are partnered by the Saratov State Medical University named after V.I.Razumsky, professor of the Department of Hospital Therapy, medicine from 04.20.2022 to 04.22.2022, practical training was conducted by Doctor of Sciences Nikitina Natalya Mikhailovna.

  In the framework of the academic mobility program defined in the cooperation agreement between the Samarkand State Medical Institute and the Institute of Integrative Family Therapy of the Russian Federation, the head of the Department of Family Medicine of the Institute of Integrative Family Therapy, PhD, professor Yegorov Ilya Vadimovich, partner to students, master's residents and clinical supervisors at the Department of Internal Medicine of the University 13.05 .2022, 16.05.2022 and 17.05.2022 practical training was held.
