On February 18 of this year, a meeting was held at Samarkand State Medical University as part of events to promote a healthy lifestyle and fight drug addiction.

  The meeting, organized on the topic of "Youth against drug addiction" and "We are for a healthy lifestyle", was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan - Deputy Head of the Operational Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Colonel A. Matlubov, Deputy Head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Samarkand Regional Department of Internal Affairs Lieutenant Colonel T. Namozov, Director of the Samarkand branch of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Mental Health N. Kendjaeva, Inspector for Prevention of the University O. Eshmuratov, tutors and students of the university.

  During the conversation, students were told about the importance of a healthy lifestyle and its impact on human health, the detrimental effects of drug and psychotropic substance use, and were urged to be vigilant and responsible.

  The students received detailed answers to their questions, which made the meeting even more useful and informative.
