Students from various foreign countries study at Samarkand State Medical University. In particular, more than 3,000 students from India and Pakistan study at the university's faculty of international education.

  On February 18, a diploma award ceremony was held for 74 graduates who successfully passed the final state exams.

  Opening the ceremony, Rector of the University Jasur Rizayev wished the graduates success in their professional careers and expressed hope that they would become highly qualified doctors in their countries. The ceremony was attended by the head of the «MD House» agency, Dr. Sunil Sharma, and the head of «Arsal Education», Mr. Rashid Mehmood, who also congratulated the graduates on this important achievement.

  At the end of the meeting, graduates of the International Faculty Mohammad Doud and Mailavarapu Madhulika thanked the management and teachers of Samara State Medical University for the conditions provided and the opportunity to receive high-quality medical education.
