  Speaking at the opening ceremony, the rector of Samarkand State Medical University, Professor Zhasur Rizayev emphasized the importance of a healthy lifestyle and the invaluable role of sports in maintaining human health.   32 teams of boys and 16 teams of girls are taking part in the competitions aimed at popularizing a healthy lifestyle and increasing students' interest in sports.
