Samarkand State Medical University cooperates with a leading foreign universities. In particular, there is a memorandum of mutual cooperation with Xinjiang Medical University (PRC), and within the framework of cooperation, many joint projects, scientific and practical conferences, scientific exchanges of teachers and students are implemented.

  On October 24-28 students of Xinjiang Medical University visited Samarkand State Medical University as part of academic mobility. As part of the mobility, Chinese students got acquainted with the conditions and education system of the university, in particular, with the work of the surgical center, simulation center, university clinics, and improved their knowledge and skills. As part of the academic exchange, master classes, lectures and demonstrations of practical skills were organized for the guests.

  In conclusion, all Chinese students were awarded certificates and a festive concert program was presented.
