Mutual cooperation relations have been established between Samarkand State Medical University and China's Xinjiang Medical University, and a number of joint projects, cooperative educational programs and academic exchanges are being implemented to this day.
In particular, on August 5-11 of this year, the delegation of Samarkand State Medical University visited Xinjiang Medical University located in the People's Republic of China.
During the visit, the delegation got acquainted with the activities of Xinjiang Medical University, the educational system, conditions, the activities of the Department of Immunology, Parasitology and Infectious Diseases of the University, as well as the Central Asian Scientific Laboratory of the University.
Within the framework of the visit, the Director of the Scientific and Practical Center of Immunology, Allergology and Human Genomics at the Samarkand State Medical University, Professor Kholmurodova Dilafruz Kuvvatovna, with the Laboratory of Immunology and Infectious Diseases of the Xinjiang Medical University and Microbiology, Virology, Infectious Diseases named after L.M. Isayev at the Samarkand State Medical University and in the presence of Lola Bakhranovna Makhmudova, Director of the Research Institute of Parasitic Diseases, cooperation memorandums were signed with the Infectious Diseases Department of the 1st Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University.
According to the memorandum it is envisaged to carry out cooperative research and research activities between the clinics of the two universities and to apply the experience of Chinese medicine to the healthcare system of our country.
Also, within the framework of the visit, a number of meetings aimed at "Friendship" events, getting acquainted with the educational, scientific, spiritual and educational activities carried out at the university and expanding cooperation relations were organized.
The visit of the delegation of Samarkand State Medical University to Xinjiang Medical University creates the basis for further expansion of cooperation and friendship between the two universities.
