One of the priority areas specified in the Presidential Decree No.188 dated April 1, 2022, is to provide qualified specialized medical care to the population of remote areas. 

  Specialists from the Department of General Surgery of the Samarkand State Medical University performed successful high-tech surgical operations in the Bulungur district of the Samarkand region.

  The patient underwent endoscopic papillosphincterotomy and laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Another patient underwent laparoscopic surgery using the Nissen-Rosetti method for a hernia of the esophageal opening of the diaphragm (cardiofundal type, grade II). The operations were successfully performed by surgeons U.A.Sherbekov, Z.I.Murtazaev and Z.Ya.Saidullaev.
