On July 16-17 this year, Samarkand is hosting the II Forum of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. As part of the forum, which includes discussions on various cooperation projects, the Kyrgyz delegation had an opportunity to get acquainted with the system of higher education organization and visit universities in Samarkand.

  In particular, today within the framework of the forum members of the delegation from the brotherly republic visited Samarkand State Medical University. Rector of Samarkand State Medical University, Professor Zhasur Rizaev familiarized the guests with the new educational building of the university and the conditions created in it. The guests also had an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the educational system of the University, educational platforms and training halls equipped with modern technologies.

  During the visit, an excursion was organized to the museum preserving almost a hundred-year history of Samarkand State Medical University, where members of the delegation received interesting information about the history and current activities of the University.
