In December 2023 in order to evaluate the activity of rectors of higher educational institutions of the republic the contest “The Best Rector of the University - 2023” was organized and held. According to the results of the contest, the rector of Samarkand State Medical University, Professor Zhasur Rizaev, won with the largest number of votes.

  Today Egamnazar Abdulbakiev, founder of the project “Support for Youth”, presented the rector of SamSMU with a diploma and a symbolic statuette of the winner of the contest “The Best Rector of the University - 2023”. 

  Also, in order to encourage talented students of the University, a certificate for voucher allowing 3 months of free education for 30 students of the University on the educational platform “DIAMOND EDUCATION” was solemnly handed over.
