Today, the Samarkand State Medical University is attended by students not only from our republic, but also from many foreign countries. In particular, more than two thousand students from India and Pakistan are currently receiving higher medical education at the Faculty of International Education of the University.

  On June 12 of the current year, a ceremony of awarding diplomas to a group of Indian graduates of the university took place. Rector of SamDSU, Professor Zhasur Rizaev, who took part in the solemn ceremony, congratulated all Indian graduates and handed diplomas to all of them and wished them good luck in their future activities.
