Cooperation relations have been established between Samarkand State Medical University and China's Xinjiang Medical University. On March 29 of this year, a delegation of Xinjiang Medical University visited Samarkand State Medical University.

  The Rector of the University, Professor Haji Akber Aisa, the Head of the Health Department of the Uyghur Autonomous Region, Yui Aypin, and a group of industry representatives welcomed the Rector of the Samarkand State Medical University, Professor Jasur Rizayev.

  During the visit, the Chinese delegation got acquainted with the Samarkand State Medical University and the educational system at the university. Also, issues of cooperation between the two universities were discussed.

  At the end of the meeting, the Rector of Xinjiang Medical University Haji Akber Aisa was awarded the title of "Honorary Professor of Samarkand State Medical University". At the end, those who spoke spoke about the importance of mutual cooperation in the educational system and expressed high hopes for future promising projects.
