In cooperation with the staff of the Departments of Traumatology, Orthopedics and Hematology of Samarkand State Medical University, the first in the Republic of Uzbekistan to perform a high-tech operation, total endoprosthesis of the hip joint (replacement of the hip joint with an artificial joint) on a patient with hemophilia who presented with a fracture of the femoral neck successfully implemented.

  After the operation, the patient began to walk. Currently, the patient is undergoing rehabilitation. Total endoprosthesis of the hip-femoral joint is widely used in other diseases, for example, in aseptic necrosis of the femoral head, in coxarthrosis of the hip-hip joint, and it was performed for the first time in the case of hemophilia. At the moment, the scientists of the department of Samarkand State Medical University are working on the wide application of these complex technological practices in the medicine of our country.
