Samarkand State Medical University has been establishing effective coexistence relations with a number of universities of the world. For instance, strong cooperative relations have been established with Pomorska University in Poland and a number of projects are being implemented together.

  Delegation of Pomorska University has visited to Samarkand State Medical University at the beginning of December of this year. Such as guests, vice-rector for academic affairs of the University of Pomorska Danuta Gerczynska and head of the Institute of Health Sciences Monica Vascov and head of the Department of Physiotherapy Agneska Grohulska and specialist of the foreign relations department Anna Kolesnik are acquainted with conditions in university, activities of the simulation center and educational processes. And they went to the museum which is reflected the history of Samarkand State Medical University and they had the opportunity to get interesting information about the history of the university.

  During the visit, several agreements were made between the two universities and a bilateral memorandum was signed. Such as, implementation of Cooperative Education programs in the future and agreements were reached on cooperation of clinical residency and master's degree specialists on the new trends of cosmetology.
