On December 27 and 28, in the Big Assembly Hall of Samarkand State Medical University, an open dialogue was held between Rector Jasur Rizaev and foreign students of the Faculty of International Education.The meeting was attended by Vice-Rector for International Relations Zafar Aminov, employees of the Dean's Office of the Faculty of International Education, representatives of foreign educational companies and first -,second - and third- year students .
In his address to the students, the rector of the Samarkand State Medical University, Professor Zh.A. Rizaev spoke in detail about the opportunities created for foreign students to receive higher medical education, improved conditions for their living and leisure activities, including the regular replenishment of the library of the information resource center of the university with the latest medical literature on English, attracting qualified foreign teachers to the educational process, measures to improve the English language proficiency of local teachers, positive changes taking place in student dormitories. At the meeting, the need for conducting the practical part of the training sessions was also mentioned in order to make students competitive specialists, organizing practical courses in the study of the Uzbek language to establish full-fledged contacts during medical examinations of the population, the need to comply with the laws of the host country and the internal regulations of the university.
The meeting was held in a friendly and warm atmosphere, the first-year students expressed their sincere gratitude to the university administration for the opportunities created. And on all the proposals made, the rector gave appropriate instructions to the responsible persons.
During the meeting, the participants received answers to all their questions.
