Morally and educational work of the department

One of the main activities of the department is the meaningful organization of students’ free time through spiritual and educational work. This includes shaping students’ moral values, fostering interest in their future professional activities, and promoting the need for a healthy lifestyle and family values.

To achieve these objectives, the department appoints group mentors (coaches) for students of the Biotechnology, Engineering, and Pharmacy faculties. Their activities are carried out according to an approved plan. Under the leadership of these mentors, students actively participate in public events and visit significant historical monuments, theaters, and museums in the city of Samarkand.

Faculty students also participate in sports such as tennis, chess, football, basketball, volleyball, national wrestling, and athletics at the university’s sports complex.

In accordance with the plan, various events are held in cooperation with domestic authorities, law enforcement bodies, the Department of Spirituality and Enlightenment, the “Youth Union,” and other partner organizations. These events include activities dedicated to historical dates, national holidays, and sports competitions.

Each mentor has an individual plan of activities, based on which various events are organized with their student groups. Every mentor also maintains albums containing information about students’ daily lives. This information is regularly reported to the faculty dean, vice-deans, tutors, and student mentors during scheduled meetings.

In addition, the department maintains ongoing partnerships with local technical schools, general schools, and neighborhood communities.
