Research work of the department

  The department staff conduct their scientific research in the following directions:

  1. Development of fast ion-selective detector electrodes based on heteropolymetallophosphate ionophores for medical applications.
  2. Micronutrient status of babies born to mothers with anemia.
  3. Influence of fertilizers on the growth, development, yield, and phytochemical composition of lavender (Lavandula angustifolia Mill.) in the Zarafshan oasis.
  4. Features of endothelial dysfunction and the risk of cardiovascular disease formation in children with abdominal obesity.
  5. Speech intervention in children with autism spectrum disorders: modern approaches and multidisciplinary potential.

  All department employees actively participate in the research work of the chair and the university.

  Over the last three years, the department staff have produced more than 360 scientific publications, including 2 textbooks, 3 study guides, 4 monographs, and over 350 articles published in national and international journals. In addition, 1 patent and more than 15 DGU certificates have been obtained, and articles have been published in Scopus-indexed journals. One PhD defense has also been successfully completed during this period.
