In the new Uzbekistan, the attention to young people is increasing day by day, so far, there have been a numbers of opportunities, which are being created, and conditions of life style for young generation are being improved as well. The students are also equally used these opportunities in our University. The focus is on prospering the effectiveness of the measures taken in the systematic organization of spiritual and educational work in our country, raising the intellectual potential, consciousness and widening horizon of the population, especially of young people. Moreover, this strengthens their ideological immunity, raising a harmony of generation living with patriotism, love for the country and a sense of loyalty to the motherland.
It should be noted that during the years of independence, the spiritual and historical values of the Uzbek people, the heritage of great ancestors are really becoming a World Heritage site. Restoration of the original history of the Uzbek state, restoration of national traditions, national cultures are a new spiritual image of the peoples of our independent Uzbekistan. The issue of spiritual rebirth has become one of the significant priorities of public policy.
During the years of independent development of Uzbekistan, the thought and worldview of people changed gradually. A new generation is being formed who can see its point of view in strengthening democratic values, liberalizing economic and political life and renewing society.
Within the framework of spiritual and educational activities organized on the scale of our university, and on the basis of the plan of work carried out in the direction of youth education and spiritual and educational work of the Department of Languages, spiritual and educational activities, meetings, seminars, round tables are held. The main task today is to ensure the enrichment of our younger generation with knowledge, to raise them spiritually, to promote their self-confidence and the ability to change their lives for the better.
Spiritual and educational work in the Department of Languages is carried out according to the plan approved by the "Department of youth work, spirituality and enlightenment” of the University. A spirituality hour is held with students every Thursday of the week. This aspect of work is very important and significant. At such meetings with a student audience, in addition to talking about etiquette, culture, norms of behavior, we try to inform our young people about the news, spiritual changes that have occurred in a week in our country and around the world.
During the "hours of spirituality" held at the Department of languages, our teachers were honored President Sh.M.Mirziyoyev's speech, decrees at various events and meetings, familiarize themselves with the decisions of the Supreme Assembly and the Cabinet of Ministers. As well as to educate a harmonious generation, to increase and improve the universal, national and spiritual worldview qualities of young people, to develop a healthy lifestyle among students, to form a healthy spiritual environment among students, they are also conducting a wide range of spiritual and educational work on the effective organization of students ' free time.
Responsibility for spiritual and educational work at the Department of Languages in the academic years 2023-2024 Z.M.Makhmudov. In 2018-2020. M.K.Beknazarova was appointed in the 2020-2021 academic year, D.S.Ibragimova in the 2021-2022 school year, B.S.Sharipov, in the 2022-2023 academic years. R.A.Kurbanova and M.B.Esanova conducted the spiritual and educational work of the Department.
The composition of the Department of Languages is carrying out socio–political work on the basis of a plan also established for the love of young people for the country, loyalty to the motherland, patriotic education and guidelines from higher organizations.
Professors and teachers of the Department of Languages are also actively participating in the activities of the University with their lectures, fiction and proposals calling for educational education.
In addition to such work, the tasks set by the leadership of Samarkand State Medical University are also carried out on time.
