On May 15 of this year, the international scientific-practical seminar on the topical problems of toxicology began at Samarkand State Medical University. In the seminar organized in cooperation with the Samarkand Regional Health Department, Samarkand State Medical University, the Samarkand branch of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care and the Center for the Professional Qualification of Medical Workers, experts, professors, and students from Russia and China participated in the seminar.

  The seminar was opened by the Rector of Samarkand State Medical University, Professor Jasur Rizayev and spoke about the importance of this seminar in the further development of the medicine of our Republic, in particular clinical toxicology. It was also recognized that the conference serves as an important factor in strengthening international relations and exchange of mutual experiences.

  Open lectures on a number of topics were heard at the seminar, which was held in order to gain new information about the current problems of toxicology, discuss the latest achievements and problems in the field of clinical toxicology and contribute to the development of the field by combining the experience and knowledge of the international medical community.
