At the specialized scientific-practical center of neurosurgery and neurorehabilitation under Samarkand State Medical University, with the participation of specialists from Altinbash University Medical Park Bahchelievlar Clinic in Istanbul, Turkey, a series of operations were successfully carried out by installing special "chips" in the brain for Parkinson's disease. . In order to develop this field of neurosurgery, a special group of employees of the department of neurosurgery of Samarkand State Medical University was formed, and cooperation relations are being established with several leading foreign universities and clinics. Bayramalievs trained at the Altinbaş University Medical Park Bahçelievlar Hospital in Istanbul, Turkey, at a short-term training course on "Parkinson's disease surgery". Among them, the leading specialist of the Medical Park clinic, the world-renowned neurosurgeon in stereotaxic surgery, the external associate professor of the Department of Neurosurgery of Samarkand State Medical University, Dr. They directly participated in high-tech operations performed by Sait Özturk on patients with Parkinson's disease and movement disorders. They became familiar with the specific features of these practices, used technologies, and tools.
Our young specialists have mastered the skills of pre- and post-operative observation of patients with Parkinson's disease and epilepsy, programming of chips embedded in the deep structures of the brain. Within the framework of the program, our neurosurgeons participated as assistants in the high-tech surgery of Parkinson's disease brain chip implantation, epilepsy surgery, and spinal canal stenosis in the neck area at the Medical Park Hospital.
At the end of the advanced training course, between Samarkand State Medical University and Altinbaş University Medical Park Bahçelievlar Hospital, the continuation of the "Parkinson's disease and movement disorders" surgery at the specialized scientific-practical center of neurosurgery and neurorehabilitation at Samarkand State Medical University and the serial implementation of operations, in this regard it was agreed to continue cooperation on the training of specialists.
