The 5th of April of this year, Representatives of the All-Russian public organization "Russian Scientific Society of Gastroenterologists" and "Institute of Continuing Medical Education" (Moscow, Russian Federation) visited Samarkand State Medical University.

     Rector of Samarkand State Medical University, professor J.A. Rizayev received the guests, and ways of expanding mutually beneficial cooperation were discussed during the negotiations.

     At the end of the negotiations, a tripartite memorandum on cooperation was signed between Samarkand State Medical University and the All-Russian public organization "Scientific Society of Gastroenterologists of Russia" and "Institute of Continuing Medical Education". The signed agreement serves to improve the training of qualified medical personnel, to activate academic exchanges, and to conduct scientific and research work in cooperation.
