The first scientific council of the university this year was held at Samarkand State Medical University. At the meeting, the chairman of the council, the rector of the university, Jasur Rizayev, introduced the issues on the agenda and listened to the speakers. Several topics related to educational and scientific issues were discussed. For example, the plan of activities, events and conferences to be carried out during the current year was reviewed, a number of instructions were given to further improve the activities of Doctoral studies, basic doctoral studies and independent researchers and to increase the efficiency of the Faculty of Pharmacy.

  Also, certificates and diplomas were handed over to the teachers who received scientific degrees.

  Certificates were awarded to students studying at the university who have shown all-round activity and received famous state scholarships.
