Samarkand State Medical University has been establishing cooperation relations with leading universities of the world. In particular, a number of cooperative activities were carried out together with the Webster University of the USA. On December 20 of this year, a delegation of the Webster University visited the Samarkand State Medical University.

  During the visit, the guests got to know the new educational building of the university and the conditions created in it, as well as the activities of the simulation center established under the university. They also visited the museum of the history of the university and got interesting information about the university. Within the framework of the visit, a meeting was organized with the Rector of Samarkand State Medical University, Jasur Rizayev, and issues of cooperation were discussed.

  In particular, in cooperation with the Center for the implementation of educational programs of Webster University in Tashkent and Samarkand State Medical University, an agreement was reached on the establishment of biology and chemistry education courses at the university, further development of laboratory activities, and other issues.

  At the end of the meeting, Jasur Rizayev presented souvenirs with the university's emblem to the guests.
