On November 28-29, 2023 the leading specialists of the Specialized Scientific and Practical Center of Neurosurgery and Neurorehabilitation of Samarkand State Medical University Rajabov H.H. and Husanov Z.T. took part in the international scientific and practical courses and conference "Endoscopic transnasal surgery of head base tumors" held in the Federal Center of Neurosurgery in Tyumen (Russian Federation).

  Leading neurosurgeons-professors of the Russian Federation and the world, famous representatives of the field of neurosurgery, representatives of SamSMU delegation actively participated in the conference with lectures.

  Within the framework of the conference there were lectures and master classes of such experienced specialists as Director of Tyumen Federal Neurosurgical Center Professor Albert Sufianov, Felix Vinod (India), Sergey Lyashenko (Russia), Daniel Prevedello (USA), Diana Lyashenko (Russia), Georgy Polev (Russia), Alexander Skripnikov (Russia), Andrey Dubovoy (Russia), Roman Bosnyak (Slovenia) and others.

  The participants had an opportunity to improve their skills at the master class in the 3D cadaver laboratory, to master high-tech methods of operations in head surgery.

  Our specialists took part in surgeries performed on tumors of complex localization in the practice of "Live surgery", held on the second day of the conference, and received certificates on its results.

  As part of the trip, an agreement was also reached with the Tyumen Federal Center for Neurosurgery to continue cooperation in the field of advanced training, scientific and practical cooperation.
