INFORMATION LETTER
Dear colleagues!
Samarkand State Medical University invites you to take part in the international scientific-practical conference “Innovative approach and perspectives of modern dentistry and maxillofacial surgery” dedicated to the memory of scientist S.E. Kubaev, which will be held on 25-26 February 2022 in Samarkand.
The aim of the conference is to exchange global achievements, academic knowledge and experience in the field of dentistry. Leading international scientists are planned to participate in the conference.
Organizers of the conference: Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan, Samarkand State Medical University, Association of Dentists of Uzbekistan.
The main scientific focus of the conference programme:
- Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Surgical Dentistry;
- Therapeutic Dentistry;
- Orthopaedic dentistry;
- Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics.
Official languages of the conference are Uzbek, Russian, English.
The conference will be held in hybrid format (offline, online platform of the event).
Form of participation: full-time (presentation), extramural (publication of articles).
Materials of scientific-practical conference will be published in international peer-reviewed journal recognized by HAC “JOURNAL OF ORAL MEDICINE AND CRANIOFACIAL RESEARCH”: (in a special issue of a scientific journal) free of charge.
The papers prepared in accordance with the requirements, as well as the application form for participation in the conference should be sent to the Organizing Committee of the conference by e-mail nodira_nazarova2912@mail.ru. The deadline for submission is 10 February 2022
In case of non-compliance with the design requirements, submissions will be rejected by the Editorial Board. All papers will be checked for plagiarism.
Venue: Uzbekistan, Samarkand, Samarkand State Medical University.

ANNEX TO THE INFORMATION LETTER
Rules for the design of articles
Articles should be submitted by email (Word attachment - first author's name, for example: “petrov.doc”). It is compulsory to fill in an application form for participation in the conference. Please send the application form and articles in one email as separate files:
1) Title of the article;
2) Full name of the author (not more than 3 authors);
3) Name of institution, city, country;
4) Text (introduction, research materials and methods, results and their discussion, conclusion or conclusions, list of references. The length of the article should not exceed 6 pages);
5) Margins at the top, bottom, right and left are 2 cm, font is Times New Roman 12, interval is 1.
