Currently, JICA is announcing a set of applications from interested candidates for one place of study in the Master's degree in Universal Health Coverage at the Tokyo Institute of Science (one of the best medical educational institutions in Japan). The training period is 2 years, starting in October 2025. Tuition fees, flights to and from Japan, as well as monthly stipends, etc. are fully covered by JICA.
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
1. Have a higher medical education (bachelor's or master's degree);
2. Be at least 40 years old on April 1, 2025;
3. Have a high level of English, have a TOEFL certificate (at least IVT 80) or IELTS (at least 6.5);
4. Citizenship: The Republic of Uzbekistan.
Along with this, each candidate must provide the following documents:
1. Official Application Form (see Appendix 1);
2. Research Plan (see Appendix 1);
3. Career Plan (see Appendix 1);
4. Application Form (see Appendix 2);
5. Statement of Purpose and Objectives (see Appendix 2);
6. Letters of recommendation (see Appendix 2);
7. Academic reference (transcript);
8. A copy of the higher education diploma with its official English translation;
9. A copy of the English Language Proficiency Test Certificate (TOEFL or IELTS);
10. A copy of the passport with a photo;
11. 2 photos (4x3cm) on the questionnaire (on the original and a copy);
12. A cover letter from the employer.

At the end of March 2025, a screening of the submitted documents is expected and, based on it, a short list of candidates will be compiled for subsequent interviews and relevant university exams (approximately May of this year).
