Values reflect the spiritual image of each nation. Our national costumes, which reflect the centuries-old past, values and national culture of our people, are an important part of our values and reflect the spiritual image of the entire nation. It is no coincidence that various national costume festivals and similar events are organized in our country to strengthen the promotion of national costumes, instill the spirit of the nation in the minds of the younger generation, introduce the norms of the Uzbek mentality into their lives, and instill love for national costumes.

Before the birthday of the honored poet of the Uzbek people, Muhammad Yusuf, events such as a literary conference, memory and poetry evenings were held at our university. In particular, the events held on April 26 - the day the poet was born - became a literary holiday. The event focused on honoring the memory of the poet, studying and promoting the unique aspects of his poetry, life, and work. “The People's Poet of Uzbekistan, the late Muhammad Yusuf, was a creator who deeply touched the hearts of our compatriots with his unique poems. Not every creator is lucky enough to be loved and respected by the people. Muhammad Yusuf is one of the outstanding representatives of our literature who has achieved such respect and recognition.

The fact that every Friday is celebrated in our country as "National Costume Day" serves to further promote our national values, preserve our customs and traditions. This initiative is aimed at strengthening the place of national costumes in our daily lives, and instilling Uzbek pride in the hearts of the younger generation. It is noteworthy that on this day, not only women, but also men participated in national costumes, showing their respect for our values. Men's national costumes, decorated with a skullcap, robe and belt, gave a special charm and once again demonstrated the uniqueness of our national culture. "National Costume Day" serves not only the appearance, but also the goals of understanding national identity, respecting our historical heritage and passing it on to future generations. Therefore, it is advisable to widely implement such an initiative not only in government agencies, but also in various organizations and institutions.
