The research work of the department is carried out on the education of the younger generation in the spirit of independence, the formation of the legal culture of youth, the philosophical problems of modern medical science, various aspects of the history of the statehood of Uzbekistan.

  All employees of the department actively participate in the research work of the department and the institute. Currently, 1 employee is an independent researcher (Abdiev E.M.) and 3 employees defended their Ph.D. dissertations in medical sciences in 2021-2022.

  Over the past 5 years, the staff of the department has published more than 200 scientific papers, including 1 textbook, 11 manuals, 7 monographs, 10 electronic programs, more than 60 articles in leading republican and foreign journals.
