In the department, students of the 2nd year faculty of folk medicine "Pharmacognosy", 2nd year students of the faculty of pharmacy "Pharmaceutical botany", 3rd year students of the faculty of pharmacy "Pharmaceutical technology", "Pharmacognosy", 4th year students of the faculty of pharmacy "Methods of instrumental analysis of drugs" science, students of the 5th year Faculty of Pharmacy study on the basis of the program of "Pharmaceutical Biotechnology", "Biopharmacy".
In the department, students of the second year of the international educational program faculty of pharmacy study on the basis of the "Botany" science program.

A telecommunication system has been established, video films and presentations, multimedia programs, lectures and practical exercises are shown with the help of using televisions connected to the central computer. There is a single bank of scanned images that are designed for unified teaching based on the curriculum and correspond to all sections of the curriculum.

1. Lectures are 2 hours per stream according to the module system.
2. Practical classes once a week for 2-4 hours. It is taught using interactive methods.

Monitoring and evaluation of student knowledge in pharmaceutical botany, pharmacognosy, pharmaceutical technology, methods of instrumental analysis of drugs, biopharmaceutics and pharmaceutical biotechnology, according to the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan on August 9, 2018 with the order No. 19-2018 "On approval of the regulation on the control and evaluation system of student knowledge in educational institutions" (Registered from the Ministry of Justice on September 26, 2018, No. 3069) approved Regulation "On the control and evaluation system of students' knowledge in higher education institutions" and the order of this Ministry No. 820 of September 29, 2018, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 8, 2020 - on the basis of the September order No. 236 "On the approval of regulatory documents on the organization of the educational process in medical and pharmaceutical higher and secondary special educational institutions" , and is performed as follows.
Procedure for evaluating students’ learning process.
Evaluation is one of the stages of completion of the educational process of students, and it shows the level of mastering of the educational process by the student. The evaluation process is determined by: oral survey, test, written work, and the result of practical skills.
Evaluation according to the module system is based on the sum of the evaluations of the current educational process and the results of the final module control, according to the traditional 4-grade system.
The final inspection is conducted and evaluated in the manner of MOM tests on the computers of the Information Resource Center of the univercity based on the schedule prepared by the dean's office, with the participation of the deputy deans.

- The library has more than 100 educational literature in English, Uzbek and Russian languages.
- The electronic library includes textbooks, training manuals, instructional manuals, etc.
An independent correctional room has been established for students in the department, there are all conditions for students to work on themselves in their free time. You can get any information related to the topic. At the same time, the department can conduct various analyzes in the laboratory.
