The objectives of international cooperation of the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry at Samarkand State Medical University are based on the concept of university development and are aimed at strengthening its position in the international educational space. The main advantages of internationalisation are increasing the number of students from abroad, developing joint projects with foreign higher education institutions and research centres, increasing the number of researchers and teachers from foreign higher education institutions, and increasing the number of joint programmes with foreign higher education institutions. From year to year the number of highly qualified specialists, teaching staff, students and research workers from abroad visits the Department of Children Propaedeutics in order to establish business contacts, study, improve qualification and participate in scientific conferences.
The Department regularly organizes lectures and webinars with prestigious medical universities in CIS countries as part of academic mobility, effectively using the online platform Zoom.
