About of the clinical residents of SSMU

  Based on supplement No. 2 to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 18.12. 2009, No. 319, “Clinical Residency Regulation”, in order to expand the knowledge and skills, clinical residents can be involved in scientific work (preparation of abstracts, thematic analysis and literature review, covera ge of certain provisions in medical practice, presentations at conferences, clinical testing of new drugs, etc.) carried out outside the individual plan for the preparation of a clinical resident.

  The maximum training load of a clinical resident is set based on the monthly load of a doctor of the corresponding specialty. In addition, the clinical intern performs independent work. The amount of time spent on independent work includes two mandatory free night (evening) duty per month according to the schedule in the departments determined by its head.
  The activity of the clinical residency department is regulated by the Laws "On Education", "On the National Program for Personnel Training" and other regulatory documents. This is part of a multi-level structure of higher medical education, the task of which is to prepare highly qualified specialists for independent work in health car:
