Samarkand State Medical University has established strong partnership relations with the Bashkir State Medical University (RF). Within the framework of cooperation, joint projects, conferences are carried out, academic exchanges of faculty and students are organized.

  On December 3, Avzaleddinov Artur (professor of the department of hospital surgery of the Bashkir State Medical University clinic, head of the robotics center) and Gubaydullin Salavat (employee of the department of hospital surgery of the Bashkir State Medical University) visited SamSMU.

  During the visit, a meeting was organized with the rector of the Samarkand State Medical University, Professor Jasur Rizayev, where an agreement was reached on drawing up a roadmap for further expansion of mutual cooperation, especially in the field of surgery and robotic surgery.

  During the visit, the guests also got acquainted with the conditions created at the university for student training and the organization of the education system. An excursion to the SamSMU history museum was also organized and interesting information was provided about the almost hundred-year history of the university.
