On November 19, a ceremonial "Oath of Initiation into Students" was held for first-year students of the Samarkand State Medical University. The SamSMU management, representatives of the faculty and first-year students took part in the ceremony.

  The rector of the university, professor Jasur Rizayev, who spoke at the opening of the event, emphasized that the oath taken by the students symbolically serves as an incentive for them to become worthy of a white coat during their studies and further medical career. The rector wished the students good luck and success in their further studies.

  More than 2,000 students who entered the first year of the Samarkand State Medical University ceremoniously took the "Oath of Initiation into Students".

  The festive event continued with musical performances and songs prepared by talented students of the university.
