October 18 is celebrated as the day of the ancient and always young city of Samarkand. In connection with this date, festive celebrations began early this morning throughout Samarkand. In particular, representatives of the Samarkand State Medical University took an active part in the large festive celebration.

  The rector of SamSMU Jasur Rizayev also visited the festive events and solemnly congratulated everyone on the Samarkand City Day.

  During the festive celebrations, the SamSMU staff presented exhibitions, various interesting examples of art, as well as national dance numbers with the participation of students of the faculties and foreign students of the Faculty of International Education.
