Samarkand State Medical University has established cooperation relations with many foreign universities and organizes exchange of professors and teachers. In particular, on October 3 of this year, Samarkand State Medical University was visited by South Korean Yonsei University professor Hang Seok Chang and CHA University medical school professor Jong Woo Kim. Within the framework of the visit, a meeting was organized with the Rector of Samarkand State Medical University, Professor Jasur Rizayev, and issues of cooperation between Samarkand State Medical university and South Korean universities were discussed.

  Also, a seminar for students was organized by professors Hang Seok Chang and Jong Woo Kim in cooperation with the Department of Surgical Diseases of the Faculty of Pediatrics, the Department of Surgery of DKTF and the Department of Urology. During the seminar on "Treatment of thyroid gland cancer" and "Introduction of robotic surgery", students received answers to many questions they were interested in.
