At Samarkand State Medical University there is a Scientific Council DSc04/05.05.2023.Tib.102.03 for the defense of dissertations for the scientific degree (PhD) of Doctor of Philosophy in Medical Sciences and the scientific degree of Doctor of Science (DSc). The Scientific Council is allowed to accept for defense dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Medical Sciences (PhD) and Doctor of Science (DSc) in the following specialties:
