On August 28 of this year, the next scientific council of the university was held at the Samarkand State Medical University. Rector of Samarkand State Medical University and Chairman of the Scientific Council, Professor Jasur Rizayev, opened the scientific council and congratulated all the participants on the 33rd anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, wishing our country peace, prosperity, and good luck in the future work of everyone.

  The main focus of the agenda of the scientific council of the university was the analysis of the achievements and shortcomings of the last academic year, as well as the preparation for the new academic year. The members of the scientific council of the university gave lectures on the state of readiness of university classrooms, educational and scientific equipment and manuals, and the state of readiness of student residences belonging to the university. Also, a number of measures to be implemented during the new academic year were reviewed and discussed.

  During the meeting, diplomas were solemnly presented to professors and teachers who received scientific titles and degrees.
