Samarkand State Medical University is implementing joint educational programs with a number of foreign higher education institutions. Including medical research in collaboration with Privolzhsk Research Medical University (Russia), Altai State Medical University (Russia), Pomorskie University in Slupsk (Poland), pediatrics, dentistry, and Cosmetology, which is the only undergraduate course in the Republic of Uzbekistan. More than two hundred documents were accepted for joint educational programs.
On August 27 of this year, preliminary exams were held for applicants who expressed their desire to study under these joint educational programs. The exams were opened by Z.Z. Aminov, vice-rector for international relations of SamSMU, and D.Sh. Abdurakhmanov, dean of the Faculty of Joint Education. During the examination process, 205 applicants were tested in biology, chemistry and rustili blocks.
By the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on 06.07.2021 "ON THE APPROVAL OF THE REGULATION ON THE PROCEDURE FOR ORGANIZING EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN AND FOREIGN PARTNER HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS ON THE BASIS OF JOINT CURRICULUM PROGRAMS" According to the decision No. 421, admission to joint education programs is in two stages, the first stage is the admission developed by the higher education organization of the Republic of Uzbekistan in agreement with the foreign partner higher education organization. entrance exams will be held according to the procedure. The next stages of the exam and the results will be announced on the official website of the Samarkand State Medical University.
For information: Today, more than 300 students are studying at the Faculty of Joint Education of Samarkand State Medical University on 6 joint education programs. Samarkand State Medical University in the 2024-2025 academic year 6 with the Russian Federation (Medical work, Pediatric work, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Clinical psychology), Republic of China, 1 with Xinjiang Medical University (Fundamental medicine), Republic of Tajikistan , it is planned to open 1 course (medical work) with Abuali ibn Sino Tajik State Medical University, 1 course (nursing work) with Webster University of the United States of America. Also, it is planned to accept graduates in 19 directions with the Russian Federation, Privolzhsk Research Medical University, 10 with the Republic of Belarus, Vitebsk State Medical University, 10 with the Republic of Belarus, Belarus State Medical University for clinical residency.
