At the multidisciplinary clinic of Samarkand State Medical University, the Department of Surgical Diseases and Transplantology No. 1 successfully performed a hybrid operation of Laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LXE) papillosphincterotomy (EPST) simultaneously with the Rendezvous method for the first time in the Republic.
The advantage of this hybrid operation compared to two-stage treatment (Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERPXG) with EPST followed by LXE) is the low rate of complications and the low risk of developing postoperative pancreatitis, especially with high success rates and a shorter hospital stay. relatively short time is achieved.
At present, the laparoendoscopic access room for simultaneous hybrid operation is limited by the lack of a laparoendoscopic access room in many inpatient hospitals and the lack of a complex of equipment for videolaparoscopic surgery, videoendoscopic manipulation and radiography in the operating room.
According to associations such as the European Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE), the World Society for Emergency Surgery (WSES), the European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL), simultaneous cholecystectomy and EPST with the Rendezvous technique and removal of gallstones, surgical experience is a worthy alternative to traditional two-stage treatment.
