On July 22-23, the delegation headed by the Rector of Samarkand State Medical University Jasur Rizayev visited Chuvash State University (RF) named after I.N.Ulyanov.

  The SamSMU delegation was warmly welcomed by ChuvSU Rector Andrey Alexandrov. During the conversation, they discussed the current issues of mutual cooperation and determined the main directions for the development of future cooperation.

  Our university has long-term cooperation with ChuvSU. In particular, a joint educational program in the direction of "Clinical psychology" is being implemented. ChuvSU teachers have visited SamSMU several times, giving lectures on the Russian language, psychiatry and psychology, and holding master classes for students. In addition, ChuvSU students and teachers regularly participate in conferences, webinars, international roundtables, online conferences and Olympiads organized by SamSMU.

  The delegation's acquaintance with the university began with a visit to the history museum of the Chuvash State University, then the guests were welcomed by fellow doctors of the medical faculty, where they got acquainted with the anatomical museum exhibits, modern classrooms and laboratories. Acquaintance with the Chuvash culture and traditions of the Chuvash people took place at the "Nasledie" ethnocultural center. In the student campus of the university, the guests visited the museums of the Faculty of History and Geography, ChuvSU Cyber Club, renovated grounds of the Faculty of Law, the Palace of Culture.

  Plans for cooperation between universities include student exchange within the academic mobility program, conducting classes at leading medical centers, bilateral visits of scientists within the framework of the "Visiting Associate Professor" and "Visiting Professor" programs, new joint degree programs and joint scientific projects. covers implementation.
