From June 17 to June 26 of this year, the International Summer School was held in Samarkand for the first time at Samarkand State Medical University under the auspices of Patrice Lumumba University of Peoples' Friendship of Russia (RUDN), one of Russia's leading universities. (RUDN). The summer school "Modern practice of teaching the Russian language in a multicultural audience" was held in the form of training courses on the methodology of teaching the Russian language and literature and was organized by the direct initiative of the rector, Professor J.A. Rizayev. The training courses were held with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, and more than 50 teachers of Russian language and literature from various higher educational institutions, academic lyceums and medical colleges of the region took part in them.
During the summer school, associate professors of the Russian language department of RUDN University - Yuliya Nikolaevna Biryukova and Lyudmila Vyacheslavovna Apakina gave lectures on the current situation in the field of languages, the use of digital technologies, teaching non-Russian speaking students, and forms of interactive education. held master classes and communicative seminars. All the subjects covered are practical and serve to increase the effectiveness of the educational process.
Also, an intensive course on Russian language learning was held for SamSMU students on the topic "Russian language for education and career: successful communication strategies".
All course participants received international certificates.
During their stay at SamSMU, the representatives of the Russian university presented foreign students with modern manuals and textbooks on the development of speaking activity in the Russian language to the university library.
