Today, Samarkand State Medical University is establishing close cooperation relations with many leading medical higher education institutions of the world. In particular, friendly relations have been established with the University of Health Sciences of Turkey, joint scientific and educational projects and conferences have been held.

  On June 22 of this year, a delegation led by the Rector of Turkish University of Health Sciences, Kamalettin Aydin, visited Samarkand State Medical University. The guests were welcomed by SamSMU Rector, Professor Jasur Rizayev. Within the framework of the visit, a meeting aimed at developing mutual cooperation relations was organized.

  At the meeting, the issues of raising the cooperation between the two universities to a new level in terms of scientific and practical projects, educational programs and academic exchanges, in particular, the implementation of a new joint educational program in the field of medicine in the future, were in the center of discussions.
