The fraternal relations between the Uzbek and Turkish peoples go back to the distant past. Even today, the leaders of the two countries are carrying out a lot of effective work on the development of mutual cooperation and raising it to a new level.
Similar to these works, Samarkand State Medical University has also established cooperation relations with several educational and medical institutions of Turkey and is making a worthy contribution to the health sector.
On May 14 of this year, the delegation led by Rector of Ankara Yildirim Boyazid University, Professor Ali Cengiz Köseoğlu visited Samarkand State Medical University. Rector of Samarkand State Medical University, Professor Jasur Rizayev welcomed the guests.
During the meeting, the issues of establishing mutual cooperation between the two institutions, organizing academic exchange, as well as establishing a joint master's education in the field of medical law and developing a road map were discussed.
