Meeting with famous writers within the framework of the "Sharing Enlightenment" project

On April 24 of this year, a spiritual and educational meeting was organized with our writers who have been making a worthy contribution to the literary environment of our region within the framework of the "Sharing Enlightenment" project at the Samarkand State Medical University.

The editor-in-chief of "Guliston" magazine Mamatqul Hazratkulov, the editor-in-chief of "Jamiyat" newspaper Maqsud Jonikhonov and the chief specialist of the Samarkand regional branch of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan Zuhrabegim Eshankulova visited the event as guests and got acquainted with the university and the conditions created in it. In the main part of the event, a conversation with students was organized. During the meeting, the guests presented examples of their creations, calling our young people to be educated and loving people of our motherland, giving examples from their life paths.

During the event, the students also shared an upbeat mood with their poetic and artistic performances. Students had the opportunity to get answers to questions about literature, art and culture from teachers.

Also, under the leadership of Samarkand State Medical University rector, professor Jasur Rizayev, together with the guests, ornamental seedlings were planted around the university building within the framework of the national project "Green Space".

As part of the "Sharing Enlightenment" project, the guest writers also visited the schools attached to Samarkand State Medical University and had a creative meeting with the students. Books were presented to schoolchildren who pleased the guests with their performances.

It is no exaggeration to say that these comprehensive meetings organized with writers contribute to the growth of the young generation as knowledgeable, enlightened and highly cultured people.
