Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 13, 2019 Number 4190 "On approval of the concept of development of the mental health care service of the population of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2019-2025" dated May 16, 2022 Number 244 "To the population "On additional measures for the further improvement of the system of drug assistance", dated 19.06.2023 Number 196 "On measures for the further development of mental health services of the population" "in order to ensure the implementation of the decisions of this year, on April 23-26 of this year, it is planned to hold an international scientific-educational project called "II Spring Samarkand Scientific School of Young Psychiatrists and Narcologists".
Today, the opening ceremony and plenary meeting of this project took place at Samarkand State Medical University. In the project of the conference, which is organized in cooperation with the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Mental Health Medical Center, Samarkand State Medical University, Tashkent Medical Academy and the Association of Psychiatrists of Uzbekistan, not only local leading scientists, but also from near and far foreign countries, France, Switzerland, Hungary, Sweden, Leading experts from Germany, Netherlands, India, America, Turkey, Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan are participating.
Rector of Samarkand State Medical University, professor Jasur Rizayev opened the conference and spoke about the importance of the project. Also, the Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan Asilbek Anvarovich Khudayarov participated in the conference online and noted that this project will make a positive change in the health care system of our Republic.
Current problems of modern psychiatry and narcology were discussed within the event. Also, new methods of diagnosis and treatment of these diseases, prospects of digitalization and artificial intelligence in the field were demonstrated. To improve the quality of medical services in the field of psychiatry - narcology, to introduce innovations in the field of health care, to strengthen human resources, including scientific potential, to create conditions for a sustainable response to modern demand and to implement it in practice, including early diagnosis of diseases system and remote monitoring of patients' health, issues related to the development of translational medicine were discussed.
Plenary and sectional meetings are held in the scientific school program. More than 100 young psychiatrists and narcologists will be trained at the event. II "Samarkand Spring Scientific School of Young Psychiatrists and Narcologists" will become a platform for increasing the scientific activity of young scientists, realizing their potential, and creating conditions for the exchange of scientific ideas.
